Spelling His Name

Recently someone asked Avery what his name is and he answered by spelling it out, "A, V, E, R, Y."  We have his name on the nursery wall and ever since he was a baby, when I would pick him up out of the crib each morning, I would point to the letters on the wall and say, "A, V, E, R, Y....Avery!"  Such a first grade teacher thing to do, I know!  But that is how he learned to spell his name at only two and half years old.
