Finally, A Backyard!

After saving our money and waiting 2 years, we finally have something more than dirt in our backyard.
It has turned out more beautiful than we even expected!
I bought this white garden bench many years ago and have never had a backyard big enough to really use it until now.
This is my favorite part of the yard.
And here's another old bench that we found a place for.
Clark had this bench in the backyard of his 100 year old Victorian home and we thought it would add a bit of charm and nostalgia to this new home.

We have 3 fruit trees, flowers and rose bushes and there is still plenty of room to mix in some herbs and squash or pumpkin vines.

We have raised planter boxes for growing vegetables.

And this is the future site of a swing set/sandbox for Avery and his future siblings and friends.
Yes, come next winter, we will be eligible to adopt another baby and so we ask that all our friends and family keep us in mind if you happen to hear of any birth mothers considering adoption.
Typically couples wait a long time for a baby and so we thought we would start advertising ourselves early.

Kent says it looks better than his backyard. He needs to do some more weeding...a never ending chore.

The finished product is gorgeous. The stepping stones really add something special. Love it!

It looks great, I'm glad Clark decided not to put in a patio by himself :) Avery is such a cutie by the way, hope to see his little sister or brother soon :)
